Contact Admin. The Adult Day of Dunwoody, LLC is 5 years old and we are celebrating the many happy seniors that enter our doors each day! We support the health, nutritional, social, and daily living needs of older adults, so they can continue to live safely in their homes and communities for as long as possible.
Our Adult Day Health program is unique in that we employ individual-directed programming that provides our members with activities tailored to their specific needs and interests.
Our Day Program is filled with activities and occasional outing, moderate exercise and programs throughout everyday. More importantly we bolster the care of individuals with a high level of clinical support, via a Social Worker, Registered Nurses, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist. We offer a multitude of entertainment and cognitive curriculum options to our members including music and art therapy, brain fitness and pet therapy with our own loving, resident canine, Addy - there is truly something here for everyone!
We are proud to be a medical-model care center, the nurse is on duty at all times to provide health monitoring, medication administration and other medical assistance. The Adult Day of Dunwoody Foundation is a c 3 nonprofit organization devoted to enriching the lives of older adults and caregivers.
Our Foundation provides scholarship money to offset the cost of those unable to afford care and solicits funding to provide supplemental senior enrichment programs. At the same time the Foundation supports the needs of hardworking caregivers who are often overburdened and many times unnoticed. The Foundation relies on private donations from people like you.
