Visited this castle with a tour group. Very nicely restored with guides in period dress. Our guide A beautiful, small castle which we enjoyed looking around. Many of the rooms have interactive Our guide spoke English and explained all about the castle, room by room and see what the different rooms were used for.
I've been in other castles in Hungary. Many of the rooms have interactive computer screens with lots of information. Well worth a visit. Nice restauration of this Hunting Castle. Is very interesting, you should clearly visit this part of history. Congrats for reastauration proces. The castle is well restored with many exhibits, some demonstrations, nice views.
The climb to one of the towers is worth the effort as it offers great views. The building is in top condition and you can also visit all rooms decorated and used. Ticket price for an adult is approx 5 EUR. The route to the top is quite tough through lots of high stairs.
An interesting day out. Couldn't get the hang of the audio guides but lots of information boards to read. An interesting history of the castle which has had so many incarnations. This was a wonderful trip, the castles is amazing, so much to see and lots of details in every room. This has been lovingly looked after,you can take as long as you want, the views are amazing on one side but the other side there Went on a cold and snowy day in November but still had a great visit.
Enjoyed an excellent tour with a guide who spoke perfect english and brought the castle to life. Each room was decorated in sequence, perfect if you have the local guide who wear beautiful outfits. Beautiful castle surrounded by green mountens. Friendly stuff in nice costumes. Interesting activities.
